Two dead and two injured at concrete firm incident in Devon

Two people have died and two others have been injured in an industrial incident in Devon.
Police and ambulance crews were called to West Country Concrete Products in Shebbear at about 15:25 BST on Tuesday 23 August where one man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another man was airlifted to Derriford Hospital, sustaining serious injuries, however passed away on Saturday 27 August. He was believed to be a local lorry driver.
A Health and Safety Executive (HSE) spokesperson said: “HSE is aware of the incident and is assisting Devon and Cornwall Police with their inquiries.
“Our thoughts are with those affected by this incident and their families during this sad time.”
The two other men sustained minor injuries and have since been discharged from hospital. Tributes have been paid to the workers who died from the incident.
