The firm has taken the step in response to a continuing growth in the number of gas powered generators and CHP systems being sold. Around 50 per cent of all Merlin’s engineers have now gained ‘Gas Safe’ accreditation by attending two-week training courses. The training included extensive theory, practical testing and continuous assessment and the engineers are now qualified to install, service, and repair all gas generators and CHP systems. The training is integral to the company’s recently launched Infinium24 maintenance programme, which monitors and provides maintenance for Scorpion Power System’s range of CHP gas generators.
