3M makes Safety Network Live even bigger
Following the success of last year’s event, 3M will be making Safety Network Live bigger and even better for 2016.
The free event, held in partnership with SHP, is a jam-packed day of expert speakers, practical demonstrations and roundtable discussions that will give attendees important information about health and safety issues.
Science-based technology company 3M held the event for the first time in 2015 to celebrate its Safety Network, which is a website that gives professionals access to health and safety expertise at the click of a button.
The idea behind Safety Network Live was to bring together, under one roof, its interactive online community of health and safety professionals to share their expertise and knowledge in person.
So that more people can attend the event and make the most of the resources on offer, 3M will be hosting it on two days and at two different venues – one at the company’s head office in Bracknell, Berkshire and the other at the home ground of Manchester United, Old Trafford.
Highlights of the event include a Productivity Ninja, who will be offering professional advice on how to make every second in the working day count. And a panel of experts will be on hand to encourage debate and discussion about any health and safety questions attendees might have. There will also be a range of seminars – covering topics from fit testing respirators to working at height.
Andy Pearson, marketing executive at 3M, said: “Safety Network Live was such a big success last year and it was brilliant to see our interactive community under one roof. This year we wanted to make it more accessible, which is why we have decided to host the event in two locations.
“Everyone is welcome to attend, whether they are part of the Safety Network or not. We hope to see you all there!”
The event will be taking place in Bracknell on Tuesday 27 September and at Old Trafford on Tuesday 4 October.
