Discover first-hand how Virtual Reality can invigorate training
Myriad Global Media will be showcasing three new HSE training scenarios, at Safety & Health Expo, allowing visitors to discover first-hand how Virtual Reality can invigorate commonplace HSE training.
The user will be taken through three scenarios and is required to carry out specific actions to prevent further risk to themselves and others around them, as follows:
- Fire Safety – different fire types occur, and the user must put them out using the correct extinguisher type.
- Personal Protective Equipment – the user must dress four mannequins with the correct PPE, depending on their job responsibilities.
- Hazard Perception – an incident has occurred in a manufacturing environment and the user must handle the situation correctly.

New immersive VR training techniques are changing how organisations engage their employees, exposing them to a plethora of hazardous environments, increasing information retention without the associated risk. Embracing these new technologies and integrating multi-user virtual scenarios into current training methods improves HSE culture and awareness and shows employees the organisation is serious about change.
Myriad Global Media can integrate all VR training scenarios into existing LMS systems or alternative internal IT systems to ensure an easily accessible learning platform. All our scenarios can be supported by tutorial videos, animations and ‘How To’ PDFs. Our expertise across multiple communication channels will ensure that all our training methods are integrated correctly to gain the best results.
Beyond HSE training, the company applying VR and AR across global business units (with multiple participants) in the arenas of operating and reporting, event experiences, equipment familiarisation, remote maintenance and more.
