Last week, another successful Safety & Health Expo came to a close. The three days included 90 hours of workshops and seminars, over 350 exhibitors, and celebrity keynote speakers.
Here are some of the highlights from 2015:
Baroness Karren Brady, Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE, and Sir Chris Hoy spoke to packed audiences in the IOSH/SHP Academy

Sessions included talks from Steve Perkins at BOHS, Nicole Vazquez of Worthwhile Training, Jason Anker, who was paralysed in a workplace accident, and talks on lone worker safety.
The showmakers were on hand to help with any enquiries and point attendees in the right direction
Heather Beach, director, OSH, climbing the JSP wall. Heather raised over £700 for Richard House Children’s Hospice.
Two Women in Safety & Health Forums took place, the second of which looked at the theme of effective communication and led to discussions of women’s experiences in different industries.
The SHP stand was busy throughout the three days, welcoming visitors with Prosecco and cupcakes

Health and Safety Week was supported throughout the Expo, with visitors showcasing their ‘helfies’, including a rather famous supporter:
