SoloProtect makes Top 100 Small Companies list
SoloProtect, the lone worker solutions company, has announced its inclusion within The Sunday Times Top 100, Best Small Companies to Work For 2016.
The company, which was also awarded the Best Companies 3 Star status, said that the news was very welcome at the end of a really productive year for the business.
In 2015 SoloProtect relocated its UK Head Office and undertake building a brand new, state of the art, Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) to support its lone worker customers from 2016 onwards. Suzy Lamplugh House (in honour of the missing estate agent who was working alone when she disappeared in 1986), in Sheffield became the first dedicated lone worker ARC to achieve EN50518 audit approval in November 2015.
The recent recognition is the result of a company-wide survey completed by SoloProtect employees, designed to assess how staff feel about a range of issues across the business, but essentially indicates how employees regard their well-being and motivation. This year was the first time SoloProtect became eligible to enter the process after considerable growth in personnel over the last 12 months.
Craig Swallow, Managing Director of SoloProtect UK, commented: “It’s really pleasing to be included in The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to work for list. It’s great to know how our staff feel and a real indication of our business moving forward. This only adds to the feeling that we’re doing something right in our market-place. We’ve had a huge year in terms of challenges to meet, and 2016 will be no different – but the job we do for our customers, and ultimately the safety of their lone workers, remains all of our main priority.”
* SoloProtect will find out their position in the Top 100 list at the awards in February 2016.
