Mental Health: The Five Year Plan

A conference examining the key actions that can drive transformation and sustainability in mental health services will be taking place in September.

Mental Health: The Five Year Plan conference will explore how the new national strategy for mental health services can drive action so that people, across all ages, can get the right help at the right time. It will also examine new models of care and supporting a modern workforce.

The conference will host a line up of expert speakers explaining how current demands can be mitigated, highlighting the new models of working and how they can be applied in practice.

Delegates at the conference will benefit from networking and knowledge sharing with fellow professionals to develop strategies which can be applied in developing and enhancing care models.

Confirmed speakers at the conference include Jenny Edwards CBE, chief executive, Mental Health Foundation, Lily Makurah, national programme manager: public mental health, Public Health England, and Andy Bell, deputy chief executive, Centre for Mental Health.
