NEBOSH

Webinar: Learning styles: fact or fiction?

Here at NEBOSH, the phrase “preferred learning style” is something we hear a lot from potential learners, particularly – and rather interestingly – in relation to type of assessments that they may take at the end of a course. We say “interestingly” as qualification assessments are usually designed to assess, rather than deliver, learning so that people can ‘pass’ and gain their qualification. In this webinar, NEBOSH will be joined by an expert panel to discuss the research and evidence around learning styles theory, what contributes towards effective learning and how this can apply in the HSE profession.

When you attend this webinar, you will gain ideas to:

  • Support your own learning and professional development
  • Use in the development of in-house training for workers
