Hear from Shaun Lundy at Tetra Consulting and Andrew Saunders from the Building Safety Regulator who will explain how the Act will be implemented and what you can do to comply.

Andrew Saunders

Operational Policy Advisor, Building Safety Regulator

Andrew has worked for HSE for over 25 years in a variety of operational roles. He joined BSR in June 2021, working in the in-occupation operational policy team. His main areas of work include the building assessment certificate process, “all reasonable steps” and external engagement.

Shaun Lundy

Director of Strategy and Innovation at Tetra Consulting Ltd

Shaun is a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner and Chartered Building Engineer with over 25 years of experience in health, safety and fire risk management. In addition to his appointment as Director of Strategy and Innovation at Tetra, Shaun is a visiting academic at the University of Greenwich and external examiner at the University of Portsmouth and Malta. Shaun is actively working with the Property Institute and the Building Safety Alliance on the impacts of emerging legislation on Building Safety. Shaun also works closely with the Manufacturing industry and currently Chairs the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Policy Committee for Make UK.  Shaun was previously Chair of the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR) and was a founding member of the HSE’s Myth Buster Challenge Panel. Shaun’s doctoral research was on professional ethics in health and safety practice, which he conducted whilst volunteering as a member of the Professional Ethics Committee at IOSH. Shaun continues his work with IOSH as a member of the IOSH Construction Committee. Shaun’s continuing research interests include ethics, leadership, education and competence in health, safety and fire practice in the built environment.
