Taking place during Health and Safety Week, this year’s show features inspirational keynotes, new features, awards and networking events.
Opened by Heather Beach, UBM, this year’s event is dedicated to “transforming safety from a culture of compliance to one of engagement” with over 100 hours free educational seminar content.
The first of this year’s inspirational keynotes was Colonel Tim Collins who spoke about military leadership lessons. Collins attracted attention on both sides of the Atlantic for his rousing speech to the troops before going into battle in Iraq (watch the video recreation here).
Safety and Health Expo is part of the Protection and Management Series – events which will see more than 40,000 visitors attend London ExCeL over the next three days.
More than 1,600 exhibitors will be showcasing 200,000 products across safety and health, facilities, service management, fire and security.

To celebrate the future leaders of the profession, a series of award ceremonies are taking place on Thursday 23rd June, including the Rising Star Award, NEBOSH Young Person Awards and the LOcHER project award. Read more here.
SHE 1000
Immediately following from 1.45pm to 3pm on Thursday #SHE1000 will celebrate women in health and safety.
Featuring a presentation from networking expert Heather White, the session will give attendees the opportunity to improve their networking skills and make new connections in the industry. Find out more here
