Power generation- Cummins 1250kVA Powerbox units
Tool and equipment-hire firm Speedy has invested almost £800,000 in a new fleet of 1250kVA generating sets from Cummins Power Generation.
Described as heavy duty, the container systems provide on-site or emergency back-up power for large-scale projects, particularly in the utilities, facilities management, major events, shipping, industrial, and manufacturing sectors.
The Cummins 1250kVA Powerbox units feature the KTA50G3 engine, which the company says is recognised for its robust and cost-effective performance, even during severe weather conditions. The generators are also said to be fully bunded to contain all spillages.
