Supplier of physical security products Securikey has announced an addition to its key reel range in the form of T-REIGN Retractors and Cases, designed to keep tools secure while working at height.
Securikey say the T-REIGN Retractors are durable and feature high strength polycarbonate bodies. Designed for those working at height or in an environment where the loss of an item could cause injury or production downtime, Securikey add that the T-REIGN Retractors are designed for securing work tools or belongings such as mobile phones or radios within easy reach. The firm also highlights that the Retractors can be secured to most types of clothing, work belts or bags.
According to Securikey, the main element of the range is the Kevlar® cord, which offers four retraction forces depending on the weight of items being secured. They add that on the Large and Extra Large models the tether can also be locked into position, so that it remains at the desired length.
Also available is the Securikey T-REIGN ProCase, which they say is the first product of its kind to combine a protective thermoformed case with an inbuilt retractable tether, safely securing items and offering weather, water and impact resistant protection. The firm say it can be used to secure items like electronic measuring equipment, mobile phones or less robust tools. Available in four sizes, the ProCase also features a patent pending access/closure system, enabling one-handed access making it ideal for those working at height, they add.
Securikey say the ProHolster is designed for 2-way radios and GPS devices, while the ProSheath case can protect a variety of pliers, wire cutters and other similar-shaped tools.
