CDM the focus at APS Convention
The programme for the 2015 Association for Project Safety (APS) Annual Convention has now been set, APS have announced.
Taking place in Edinburgh on 7-8 October, the two day convention will cover the progress of CDM over the past 20 years, says APS, and look to the future of design and construction health and safety. The Association says presentations from more than 15 speakers will include industry bodies such as the Institution of Civil Engineers and the HSE. Delegates will also hear from real-life project case studies including the Nordic Construction UK site at Hope Street, Liverpool, they add.
Richard Wilks, President of APS commented: “The Annual Convention will continue to be one of the leading events in the construction calendar. This year we focus on CDM 20 years on and I’m looking forward to some stimulating discussions in the Q&A session.”
