Woman hit by building material in Bedford
The HSE are investigating after a woman in her 60s was hit by building material in Bedford.
The woman was taken to hospital this morning (9 July) after she was hit by the material that fell from a property currently under construction
The East of England Ambulance Service was called to the High Street at 9.41am.
After arriving on scene within two minutes, the crew assessed and treated the woman for minor injuries and she was taken by ambulance to Bedford Hospital South Wing.
Bedfordshire Police was also called at around 9.45am to reports of an injured woman.
