Midlands Branch (North District)- Disaster relief
The IOSH Midlands Branch (North District) is holding a seminar on risk within business on 30 November.
Speakers at the seminar will discuss the aftermath of disasters such as fire and flood, post-disaster strategy and damage control, insurance concerns, as well as occupational health risk and OHSAS 18001. IOSH president Lawrence Waterman will be giving the keynote address.
The seminar takes place at the Wedgwood Visitors Centre, Barlaston, Stoke-on-Trent, and there will be the opportunity for delegates to look around the centre afterwards.
Previous seminars organised by the branch have been well supported, and Ian Campbell, Midlands (North District) chairman, commented: “This will be a first-class event with high-calibre speakers, so early booking is strongly recommended.”
