Road worker killed by reversing lorry on M8
A road worker has died after being hit by a reversing tipper truck on the M8, near Glasgow airport.
The incident occurred on the viaduct near Junction 28. It happened at 23:40 on Monday 3 March.
Police said the 33-year-old was hit by a tipper lorry and died at the scene.
The section of the motorway was closed until 5:25 on Tuesday 4 March.
HSE has been informed and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
