NEBOSH, the leading health, safety and environmental management examination board and awarding body, is globally launching its new Health and Safety at Work book at Intersec, from 22-24 January 2017 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The book supports the new syllabus for NEBOSH’s popular Award in Health and Safety at Work (HSW). The new specification was released in July 2016, and will start being taught and examined from February 2017. NEBOSH consulted with accredited course providers when shaping the new content for this qualification.
The 130-page book provides all the knowledge needed to aid students working towards the examinations. It features activities and case studies which illustrate the key areas covered by the syllabus and is ideal for use when studying or revising. The book is also a valuable ‘on the job’ reference tool with sections on risk assessment, as well as new statistics and updated legislation.
Available in 6 languages, the Award in Health and Safety at Work is a qualification of choice among companies who want to provide a good introduction to health and safety and get all employees to a common standard. It is offered by over 200 NEBOSH accredited course providers globally, over 50 of whom are in the Middle East. Over 900 students successfully completed the qualification in the last year and 93% of these would recommend the qualification to others.
