Professor Lord Richard Layard Norman Lamb MP
Norman Lamb is Liberal Democrat MP for North Norfolk and is well known for having proposed an amendment to the first aid regulations to include mental health. Professor Lord Richard Layard is programme director of the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics. Professor Layard has recently written a book about the economics of happiness, with one theme being the importance of non-income variables on aggregate happiness, including mental health.
These two join an impressive line up containing psychologists Tim Marsh and Sharon de Mascia, HR Employment Lawyer, Pam Loch and MHFA. The conference is taking place on 11 May at the British Medical Association in London and costs £295.
The conference is supported by the British Safety Council, IIRSM, Barbour EHS and Acre.
