Access solutions – Versatile plastic hangers

The manufacturer of a new range of versatile plastic hangers says it is set to make climbing up and down stepladders, over-reaching, and the use of mobile platforms a thing of the past when it comes to putting up or taking down high-level display material, such as signs, posters and flags.

Mike Loveridge, the inventor and managing director of Hi-Fix Hangers Ltd, explains: “The retail and education sectors, along with exhibition centres, will particularly benefit from the use of our hangers, which can be fixed, or removed simply and quickly from a safe floor-standing position using the lightweight telescopic application tool.”

He adds that the hangers can be used on ceilings, walls and windows, or on a fixed display rail system. They come complete with the correct fastening means for the intended application, i.e. magnets, Velcro, suction cups and hooks.

The company says the hangers and display-rail systems offer considerable savings in time and money, both from the practical advantage of being able to work from a safe floor-standing position and because time-consuming risk assessments required when working at height from stepladders and mobile platforms are no longer necessary.
