HSE visual guide on home-workers’ workstation set-up

The HSE has published video guidance on how to set up workstations when working from home.

It advises workers not to expect workstation assessments when working from home temporarily, but suggests trying to get good posture while working at a computer.

The video shows the ideal posture to sit in, with relaxed shoulders, straight wrists and support for lower back and feet.

    UK DSE Accessibility Regulations Deadline September 2020 and still no reference to DSE Accessibility for those “Working From Home” presuming employers website is compliant with WCAG 2.1 Colour Contrast Validation or ISO 30017.1 Display Screen Colour Contrast Optimisation for ease of access apart from other adjustments, adaptations to customise or optimise accessibility.
