Birkenstock launches its professional safety shoe range at Safety & Health Expo 2019

The German heritage shoe brand, Birkenstock, celebrates entering the UK market by presenting its product innovation of occupational and safety shoes at, Safety & Health Expo at ExCeL London from 18-20 June 2019.

This is advantageous especially when working for many hours standing or even walking – not only health but also everyday well-being will be improved.

Its new product line of safety shoes promotes function and comfort, with its footbed, designed to relieve pressure on the feet and support the natural tissue in a client’s work life. This is advantageous especially when working for many hours, not only health but also everyday wellbeing will be improved.

To adapt to the high standard requirements, all its shoes are certified. Product innovations in the new safety shoes fulfil the criteria of protection class S3 (EN ISO 20345:2011) and the occupational shoes meet the requirements of the classification O2 (EN ISO 20347:2012).

Visitors can see the different variations of the professional shoe range at Safety & Health Expo, which include:

• The occupational shoe QO400 is a slipper with a low-cut collar, available in leather or microfiber, either in black or in white. The equivalent in the area of safety shoes with the mentioned characteristics is the model QS400.
• The model QO500 is a sneaker with laces, made of leather or microfiber, either in black or in white. The leather shoe is also available in an ESD version. The equivalent in safety shoes is the QS500, which provides an additional upper material, brown nubuck leather.
• The models QO700 and QS700 have the same characteristics at their disposal as the QO500 and the QS500, as well as an additional high shaft.
