Virtual Reality Training

Immersive Factory launches its EHS training exercises on virtual reality standalone headsets

Immersive Factory has introduced EHS training exercises to its platform, all of which are, available on VR Standalone headsets.

The French firm specialises in developing EHS training modules in virtual reality and all its 25+ exercises will now be compatible to PC connected VR headsets. Hazard spotting exercises will also be available on HTC Focus Plus, with further exercises on the way.

The hazard spotting exercises encourage trainees to spot up to 40 unique workplace hazards, which appear at random in a given environment, all against the clock. Environments include: warehouse, factory, construction site, concrete mixing plant, office building, the home and many more.

One of the biggest advantages with standalone headsets, is that there is no need to run the VR exercise with the help of a gamer’s PC, since all exercises can be downloaded directly on the headset. This aspect helps companies to substantially diminish VR material costs and allow them to easily scale VR safety training.

Immersive Factory EHS training exercises are all based on real-life issues, EHS best practices, workplaces and they are developed in partnership with multinational companies such as Veolia, Suez, Bureau Veritas, Saint-Gobain, Colas, Engie, Vinci, Volvo and many more. Once they are developed, EHS exercises become available on Immersive Factory platform under various subscription models.
