Throwback Thursday: workplace driving
In August 2007 SHP looked at the issues surrounding safety and responsibility with regards to workplace driving. Part of the article covered EU Regulation EC561/2006, which came into effect in April 2007, and aimed to establish clear and common rules on driving times, rest and break periods. It also covered the Road Transport (Working Time) Regulations, which aimed to improve the health and safety of the workforce, and road safety in general.
