Here is a selection of pictures taken on the first day of the three day event:
Speaking on the same day as Safety & Health Expo’s inaugural ‘Women in Health & Safety Forum’, Baroness Karren Brady spoke to a packed audience about the obstacles she faced as a woman working in a male-dominated world.
Key quote: “Culture is the most important thing but the hardest thing to change… you develop it through hearts and minds”
Brady’s keynote is the first of this year’s inspirational speakers, a stellar lineup which includes Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE – the world’s greatest living explorer and Sir Chris Hoy MBE, Britain’s greatest Olympian.
Around the exhibition the aisles are packed with PPE and demonstrations of safety products from more than 350 exhibitors.
JSP have challenged visitors to test your speed on a climbing wall. Date for your diary: SHP’s very own Heather Beach will be put to the test on Wednesday at 1pm.
