Electrical safety management: a structured approach to assessing and controlling risk

30 April 2015. Strand Palace Hotel, London, UK

How safe are your workplace electrics?

If you just answered “don’t know”, you should join us on 30 April to ensure that you know both the theory and the practical applications of managing your company’s electrical safety.

The day will take you through the application of the IET’s Code of Practice for Electrical Safety Management, with the emphasis how to perform your own risk assessment and devise an electrical safety management plan relevant to your own place of work.

You will learn to

  • Identify and reduce workplace risks
  • Apply the Code of Practice’s self-assessment principles to your own workplace
  • Create an electrical safety management plan for your own organisation

Previous attendees had this to say

“The event was very thought provoking and will lead us in to a re-evaluation of our electrical practices.”

“Can’t wait to evaluate and use the results to raise the bar on overall electrical safety in my organisation.”

“The whole day was an eye opener; it explained how easy it is to get going and a Code of Practice is not this massive minefield of legislation. Simple practical approach to electrical safety.”

“I feel there is now a practical tool to enable us to assess our current electrical safety management structure and present our findings to our directors in an understandable format.”
