ViSafe technology comes to UK

Wearable technology company, dorsaVi, has launched technology called ViSafe, which it describes as wearable sensor technology that measures movement and muscle activity in real conditions.

dorsaVi Pty Limited say ViSafe is designed for application in the operational health and safety sector and uses wearable sensors synchronised with video capture. The technology measures real-time movement and muscle activity, so companies can be provided with data to quantitatively assess and manage risk of injury to employees, return to work cases and post-injury claims, they say.

The UK launch of ViSafe follows the launch of ViSafe in Australia last year, where it has been successfully used by large and small companies, in sectors from retail to mining, according to dorsaVi.
