2022 marked the 23rd year of the Energy Institute Awards and SHP was proud to be the partner of the Health and Safety Award, which we announce here.
The energy industry could not operate without proper regard to health and safety, and standards for safe practice are robust and subject to continuous review and refinement.
For the Health and Safety Award, the judges looked for projects which demonstrated best practice in safety as well as in areas such as occupational health, mental health, performance, productivity, hygiene, and resilience through change. They looked to acknowledge teams, individuals and projects that take a unique approach to health and safety and demonstrate the potential to have an impact on the industry’s overall health and safety record.
The winner of the Health and Safety award was Saudi Aramco, for their comprehensive Contractor Health, Safety and Environmental oversight platform – SafeLife.
