Work-related incidents can no longer be reported to the HSE by phone – unless they involve a fatality, or major injury.

Following its announcement of changes to its incident-reporting and information systems earlier this year, the regulator is reminding businesses that, from today (12 September), only fatal and major injuries and incidents will be able to be reported to it by phone.

    Really?

    Like my written query to the HSE, where I received an email on the 25th August saying that my query has been referred to an Enforcement Policy person for a reply….still waiting for that reply.

    a good move, its always better to have written prooof, than trusting some lakkie in a call centre, here today gone tomorrow kind of attitude
