The annual IOSH conference is taking place this year from the 21-22 June, alongside Safety & Health Expo 2016.
The conference theme for IOSH 2016 is ‘Influential leadership: delivering impact – sustaining change’. It is the third and final international IOSH conference on the theme of leadership.
Delegates who register before Friday 18 March will receive up to £100 off their tickets.
Shelley Frost, executive director of policy at IOSH, said the event will be invaluable for delegates: “IOSH 2016 will be focusing on all of the big OSH issues of today. It will also be an opportunity to hear the perspectives and viewpoints from OSH leaders and look at some of the really big issues around how to influence.”
Following high-level plenary sessions, the event will be split into four tracks, with attendees being able to choose the one which best suits their requirements. The tracks will be:
• How to influence – internally and externally
• Business risk and resilience
• Innovation across programmes, strategy and technology
• Positioning for the future
Sir Clive Woodward, who was coach of the England Rugby Team which won the 2003 World Cup, will be a keynote speaker, while broadcast journalist Tanya Beckett will chair the conference.
