Black Book’ offers fire-detection guidance

Notifier by Honeywell has launched a free ‘Little Black Book’ on fire safety design, aimed at anyone involved in the design or specification of a fire-detection system. €ᄄ€ᄄ

The guide covers the common elements that should be considered when installing or upgrading a fire-safety system, including practical information on legislation and guidelines, such as BS5839 part one. In addition to discussing different detection technologies for a mix of applications, the guide also explores the factors to be considered in avoiding the potential for false alarms while maintaining the speedy detection of real fires.
