Fall protection in spotlight for free 3M webinar

Working at height 1

3M will host its first ever fall protection webinar this month, as part of the science-based technology company’s popular Safety Spotlight Webinar Series.

The webinar will run from 12.00 noon to 13.00 on 22 February, titled ‘Fall Protection for the Construction Industry’. However, it will also be relevant to other sectors.

Stephen Morris, UK fall protection training sales manager at 3M, will discuss the need for fall protection in the construction industry; businesses’ legal obligations to protect workers; and the role of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

During and after the presentation, which will be broadcast live online, participants will be able to ask questions in real time.

Stephen said: “Last month 3M announced the return of its Safety Spotlight Webinar Series for 2017, and our first webinar was a huge success.

“This webinar puts fall protection in the spotlight for the first time, so I’m hoping for another great turnout and lots of insightful audience questions.

“The content will be predominantly focused around the construction industry, but still relevant to everyone within the industries that involve working at height, from rail to oil and gas.

“I encourage employers and health and safety managers to sign up online and mark their diaries, as well as to share these details with colleagues and workers.”
