PCD Maltron designs and builds what it describes as a unique range of keyboards, which enables many people with disabilities to access technology.
Its latest brochure details dual-handed 3D keyboards, which, says the company, have got thousands of sufferers of keyboard-induced RSI back to work. A new dual-handed 2D keyboard is described as “finger-friendly”, and there are also special left and right single-handed keyboards for those who can only use one hand.
The range is completed by a head/mouth-stick/single-finger keyboard, and the finger or toe-operated Expanded keyboard, which is said to be suitable for users with visual or muscular-control problems.
PCD Maltron cites a review of the 3D model by New York-based PC Magazine, which gave it four stars, as well as a ‘five-mouse’ rating from Mac User magazine.
