Ladderstore.com confirms it has been appointed as an approved training centre by the Ladder Association, as part of its national training scheme for users, supervisors and managers.
Only Ladder Association-approved training centres can deliver accredited training courses, says Ladderstore, which is running two courses: ‘Safe Use of Ladders’ – for anyone using a ladder, stepladder or podium in the workplace; and ‘Ladder Inspection’ – for personnel who conduct and document periodic ladder, stepladder and podium inspections.
All participants receive a Code of Practice and a Ladder Association photo ID card, valid for five years, as proof of competence. Courses can be attended at Ladderstore’s training centre in Bolton, or at a client’s site.
