heightec – UK manufacturer and supplier of technical equipment and specialist training for height safety and rescue has recently been awarded a major contract by County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service (CDDFRS).
Under the contract heightec will renew and replace existing equipment and deliver specialist height safety and rescue training to operational personnel. Richard Hinckley, national account manager, said “We are delighted to be awarded this significant contract by CDDFRS. We have built strong working relationships with many UK fire and rescue services over the past decade and this contract endorses our position within the fire and rescue sector.”

heightec says it supplies dedicated modular rescue systems and specialist work-at-height vertical rescue training to more than 35 UK fire and rescue services. It has a UK national network of height-safety centres, which provide training and equipment for all professional work-at-height industries.
