Throwback Thursday: Perturbing photos
Photos showing bad health and safety practices can often be seen being shared via social media, with responses ranging from shocked to amused. But sadly these are nothing new, and workers taking risks with themselves and others could be seen in the June 1996 issue of SHP. Back then SHP ran a competition to find the most perturbing photos and readers sent in examples from around the world. Looks like working at height was just as dangerous back then. Hopefully it’s better now, but those social media photos would disagree.
