Scaffolding accessories – LFI esSGee range
Comprising five products specifically designed to improve safety when using scaffolding structures, esSGee is a new range of scaffolding accessories from ladder manufacturer Ladder & Fencing Industries (LFI).
Describing itself as a leading UK designer and manufacturer of ladders and stepladders for more than 60 years, LFI sees the esSGee range as a logical next step for the firm, which serves the construction sector through a distribution network.
The company says the esSGee Step provides a safe way to erect guardrails on a ‘next lift’ of scaffolding, while the esSGee Gate (pictured) is said to offer secure ladder access for scaffolding where external ladders are in use.
According to LFI, the high-visibility ScaffTrap is used to close off access points where internal ladders are required, and the Ladder Clamp secures all types of ladder to scaffolding structures. Finally, the Scaff Tread single stair-tread unit, manufactured from galvanised steel, is said to be beneficial when installing temporary staircases.
Sales and marketing director, Robin Nicholls, commented: “This new range is a natural development of our traditional offering, and matches perfectly with our established distribution system and customer base. Our aim is to provide a distinctive line-up of safe, robust and dependable products, which makes a positive contribution to the safe use of scaffolding, consistent with current legislation and HSE objectives.”
A new esSGee leaflet is available from the LFI website at www.lfi-ladders.co.uk
