Ladder system has recently supplied 74 ladder-staging systems under a contract for roof-coating specialist, Aquashield.

Gail Hounslea, MD of explains: “Aquashield came to us with a specific brief — finding exactly the right products is what we do best, so we were soon able to identify that a ladder-staging system was required. The system we recommended undoubtedly sets a benchmark for all companies working at height on roofs, soffits, fascias and gutters.”

Benefits of the system cited by include the fact that it fits on to existing ladders (they have to be BS EN131 trade quality), it is easy and fast to fit, and is both quicker and cheaper than scaffolding. The company adds that the staging brackets have a safe-working-load rating of 270kg and will accept any make of 600mm-wide staging board. In addition, rhino board with non-slip surfaces comes with the kit.
