OneWISH announces global live event in support of Stress Awareness Week

OneWISH, the Global Coalition for Women and Inclusion in Safety and Health has announced its November live event. The event will bring together expert speakers, panellists and the latest research in diversity and inclusion within the OHS profession.

Following the launch of OneWISH in 2020, and the inaugural global congress in March 2021, the coalition of women in safety and health networks will be hosting a global live event in support of Stress Awareness Week on November 4 2021.

Speakers will include:

  • The President of IOSH, Jimmy Quinn, who will be addressing the subject of mental health issues in veterans;
  • ROSPA Policy Advisor Dr Karen McDonnell, who will be hosting a panel discussion with two of her recent OHS mentees to discuss the benefits and challenges of this process;
  • Sylvia Maruszyk who is an Activational speaker on stress and mental health from Canada.

The event will also hear from two of the Executive Committee of OneWISH on the success of the last 12 months and plans for the future.

L’Oréal supported by ERM in association with OneWISH is conducting a global survey and interviews around diversity and inclusion within the Health & Safety profession.

Following the survey, interviews are being conducted to understand and deep dive into the challenges for women in advancing their professional career. The first insights and outputs of this report will be exclusively shared and discussed at the OneWISH conference.
