A call centre was voted Glasgow’s happiest, healthiest office in the Glasgow Business Awards held on 6 October. Bellcom, which employs 400 people, specialises in business-to-business international and multilingual call-centre services.
Nick Lyons, Scotland regional sales director for one of the sponsors of the Awards, Steelcase Solutions, said: “We congratulate Bellcom on their award, which is indicative of a company making their employees’ health and well-being a top priority, a trend we hope to see more of in the future”.
Research conducted by Steelcase Solutions among 500 office workers in Scotland found that fewer than half of them believe their working environment is good enough, while the majority of them believe significantly more can be done to create more productive office spaces. €
