To fit in with SHP’s theme of occupational health this month, Barbour EHS will be running a webinar to look at the growing importance of wellbeing in the workplace, sponsored by Honeywell.
Two renowned speakers will be delivering their presentations on how they’ve managed to successfully integrate wellbeing initiatives into their companies.
Karl Simons, head of health, safety, security and wellbeing at Thames Water, and Clive Johnson, head of health, safety and security at Land Securities, will be sharing best practice and giving advice on the best way to successfully implement a wellbeing strategy into your company.
The webinar will take place on Wednesday 28 September from 11am – 12pm.
Karl Simons is responsible for the strategic direction of health and safety within Thames Water. He has 25 years’ experience in industry, having worked across all continents and numerous safety critical industries including oil, gas, minerals, rail, construction and water. He holds a Master’s degree in safety, health and the environment, is a chartered occupational safety and health practitioner and a keen student of behavioural psychology.
Clive Johnson is based in the Land Securities head office in London. His role is to ensure safety and security compliance across a property portfolio, which include shopping centres, retail parks, leisure, residential and development projects. Clive’s previous experience over the last 14 years has been as health safety and environment manager for Asda Wall*Mart and health, safety and environment leader for BAA on the Terminal 5 Project. Away from his day job Clive is an active member of ConIAC (Construction Industry Advisory Committee) member representing (CCG) he is also chairman of the Construction Clients Group (CCG).
