This year, UK Health & Safety Week is celebrating excellence in health and safety.
Safety & Health Expo is an excellent opportunity for current leaders and innovators within the profession to come together to share best practice and hear from the experts. However, it also the perfect place to meet up-and-coming talent within the profession.
Health and Safety of Tomorrow, taking place today at 12.30 within the Safety & Health Expo, is designed to celebrate excellence within the profession and meet the leaders of tomorrow.
In conjunction with UK Health & Safety Week, this session will see new talent in the profession recognised for their achievements within health and safety.
The NEBOSH Young Person Awards recognise and reward the achievements of the top performing under-25 students in NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
The LOcHER Project finds new approaches for college apprentices to learn about occupational health risks in an engaging way, embedding an understanding of key health risks.
Run in association with Safety Groups UK, the LOcHER Project is offering an award to the best poster or video designed by one of the participating colleges.
Sponosred by NEBOSH, the Rising Star in Health & Safety Award celebrates future leaders of the profession. These awards will be presented by Lawrence Waterman, director of health and safety for Battersea Power Station Development, at 12.30pm in the IOSH lunch area at Safety & Health Expo.
