Location awareness solutions company S3 ID has been awarded ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification.
The ISO 14001 recognises that the company is environmentally responsible, and the OHSAS 18001 is a UK standard that demonstrates the firm’s commitment to occupational health and safety.
S3 ID manufactures a range of products spanning everything from personnel and asset tracking, personnel on board (POB), mustering, access control, safety and security to travel logistics management, shift rotation planning and bed management.
Operations manager of the organisation, Alex Jeffery, was presented with the certificates for both the UK and Norwegian operations by QMS lead assessor John Flynn. Commenting after receiving the awards, Jeffery said: “The speed with which we have turned an intention into practice underlines the commitment of the entire S3 ID team in achieving our objectives and equally clearly demonstrates the dynamic nature of the culture within the company.”
