SHE 10 – Totectors – Hall 1, Stand H60
Totectors is returning to the market under new management after a short hiatus, and will be exhibiting a brand new range of safety footwear.
The company says wearer comfort is one of its top priorities and crucial to this is good moisture management. To this end, Totectors has used a membrane called OutDry®, which, it says, is applied directly to the underside of the upper and as a laminated bonding, so the two can’t separate and leave a gap for moisture to collect.
In traditional boots, says the company, collected moisture keeps the upper wet – a particular problem with leather footwear, which can take a long time to dry out. It makes the footwear heavier, and the film of water prevents moisture vapours from the foot escaping through the membrane. With OutDry®, says Totectors, this doesn’t happen as there is no room for the moisture film to form.
