SHP Trailblazer Awards is open all health & safety professionals, of any age and any level of seniority working in the UK.
You can enter yourself or someone else. The entry deadline is Friday 5 November.
SHP Trailblazer Awards 2021, in collaboration with Shirley Parsons, HSEQ talent experts, comprises of two categories:
Trailblazer in Health & Safety: Recognising individuals who have made an impact in workplace safety, people who have transformed safety, through a project or culture change, someone who has used technology to make a safety impact and unsung heroes from within the world of safety.
Trailblazer in Workplace Wellbeing: Recognising individuals who did the most to contribute to people thriving at work, prioritising employees’ wellbeing and mental health.
Things to consider when submitting an entry
- Make your entry as detailed and informative as you can, as this will help the judges during their deliberations;
- Try to provide tangible evidence to support what you or your nominee has achieved when explaining why they have been nominated.
What the judges are looking for
“Show technique, an outcome (with a measurable result) or even outstanding charisma and influencing skill (with an objective result).”
“Display evidence of person-centred approaches to health and safety, evidence of the impact made and innovation.”
“Portray pure passion and innovative programs which have made a difference in making people safer at work.”
“Provide feedback from the people or companies impacted by this project or person. How has the project was developed.”
“I am looking to see individuals who have clearly demonstrated the right attitude and dedication to succeed.”
“Describe the measures they used to determine they made a positive impact and mistakes they made and learnt from and what would they do differently if they had a magic wand.”
