PPE Attack Zone

Visit the brand-new PPE Attack Zone at Safety & Health Expo

Following the recent overhaul of the PPE regulations, everyone in the supply chain now has a part to play to ensure they are compliant.

Often, manufacturers will strive to create products that go above and beyond the minimum standards, only to find that price takes precedent and a worker ends up with a product of lower quality to protect them.

With that in mind, we are running a PPE Attack Zone at Safety & Health Expo to demonstrate what goes into making high quality PPE. In this zone you can expect to see products that do more than offer just basic protection presented in an interesting and informative way.

The show takes place from 18-20 June at London’s Excel and you can register for your free ticket by clicking here.

In the designated area, visitors will learn the benefits of correctly specified PPE through engaging presentations and practical demonstrations. We have experts in the field sharing their knowledge including HSE, 3M, Bolle, PK Safety, Dermashield and BSI.

PPE: Complete guide to Personal Protective Equipment

PPE can be the difference between life and death in risk-heavy occupations like construction and manufacturing. But identifying and sourcing the right PPE solutions can be a challenge – so how do you make it easier?

The PPE Attack Zone subjects PPE to rigorous, real-time, visual tests that demonstrate how PPE is accredited and provide evidence of the efficacy of different products.

These real-world scenarios will give visitors the chance to see the difference between PPE that just gets a pass mark and those products that far exceed industry standards. In this way, visitors can be sure they’re sourcing high-quality equipment to keep people safe.

The PPE Attack Zone intersects with Safety & Health Expo’s educational programme of seminars, keynote speeches and presentations, which highlight some of the major trends within the industry, many of which overlap with PPE.

The event also provides the opportunity to discuss critical developments surrounding PPE with fellow professionals and exhibitors.

The Attack Zone is being organised by Rob Shaw (TFG) Associates Ltd. Rob is the former HSE technical lead for falls prevention. In his 15-year career preventing falls, Rob has often investigated incidents where the supplied PPE passed a particular standard but did not offer suitable protection in real workplaces. The PPE Attack Zone will help visitors understand the benefits of selecting the correct PPE for their work environment to help them reduce risk and save money.
