The shield is recognition that BM Polyco’s protective gloves comply with all the relevant safety standards and can be trusted to deliver the level of safety protection stated. The scheme has been created to tackle the problem of counterfeit CE certification and products that don’t perform to the level claimed on the packaging.BM Polyco deputy managing director, Sarah Bridge, said: “Often the faults with such products are not uncovered until it’s too late and an accident has occurred. Employers who have purchased products in good faith are then left vulnerable to health and safety related issues.
