TRIS solution aims to minimise risks to travelling employees

Travel risk management company Anvil say its latest travel security application will enable businesses to provide an unparalleled level of employee safety and asset protection.

Entitled TRIS (Travel Risk Intelligence Service), the application aims to reduce the risks posed to employees travelling on business, and the potential for costly claims associated with overseas incidents, says the company. According to Anvil, the TRIS application acts as an early warning system by monitoring threats and events occurring globally, immediately alerting businesses to incidents that could pose danger or disruption to their most valuable assets.

The company say that TRIS provides travel managers, security departments and individual travellers with extensive and continuously updated travel risk information consolidated into one central resource. Anvil highlight additional features of the applications such as:

  • custom alerts based on geographic location, incident category and threat level
  • integration with corporate intranet and extranet platforms
  • risk trend analysis and reporting
  • customised travel risk briefs with the ability to incorporate bespoke or internal travel advice
