Safety footwear – Rock & Roll Cougar Boot
The Rock & Roll Cougar safety boot from U-Power has been designed to ensure that the wearer gets adequate ankle support while working. Strained ankle ligaments or twisted ankles are common injuries when working on uneven ground, the company says. The high-leg design of the Cougar, which includes a padded ankle-protector, is designed to minimise the risk.
The Cougar safety boot is made with full-grain, water-resistant, premium-quality leather with Thinsulate and WingTex lining and a polyurethane scuff cap.
It has a dual-density anti-slip and anti-static polyurethane outer sole with a shock-absorbing airbag cell, and a breathable, perforated, Airtoe composite safety toe cap.
The boot is metal-free, so can be safely worn in magnetic environments and areas of security. It has a stress-out system in the tongue and an antifungal footbed.
According to U-Power all of its safety footwear products have been complying with the new European Standard for safety footwear that came into force on 30 June.
