Respiratory protection – Mistrale disposable respirators

Birmingham-based PPE manufacturer and importer, Future Garments Ltd, has launched a range of disposable dust and mist respirators.

Grouped under the Mistrale brand, the three FFP2 and one FFP3 respirator are said to cover the most common protection requirements. All Mistrale disposable repirators feature adjustable, non-latex, elasticated headbands, a fully-adjustable noseclip for individual fit, and a cushioned nosepiece for comfort during extended periods of use, says the company.

For geneal use, there is the choice of a valved or unvalved FFP2 respirator designed to protect against non-toxic and low-to-average toxicity solid and liquid aerosols, such as oil mists. Also in the FFP2 range is an activated-carbon, valved respirator, which is said to be suitable for use in welding operations.

Completing the range is a high-efficiency FFP3 valved respirator, offering protection against non-toxic, low-to-average toxicity and high toxicity and radioactive solid and liquid aerosols.

The full range conforms to EN 149:2001+A1:2009, says Future Garments. Call the company on 0121 555 1021 for more information.
