FilterSpec® combines a mask and disposable filter with safety spectacles, or goggles in a way that allows respiratory and eye protection to work together with maximum effectiveness, says its manufacturer, JSP Ltd.
FilterSpec® and goggle-version FilterSpec Pro® satisfy HSE concerns over fit-testing and wearing combinations of PPE, adds JSP. It also points out that the combined unit solves any of the problems associated with silica dust, which is an issue in the construction, excavation and demolition industries, among others.
FilterSpec® features P3-level filters, face-fit compliance, fog-free vision and a high level of user comfort. The spectacles conform to EN166.1F, and the mask to EN1827:1999 FMP2 with a P2 filter.
